How to Vote

Have you thought about when and how you will cast your ballot this election?

You've got three options!

1. Vote by Mail

2. Vote Early, In Person

3. Vote on Election Day

1. Vote by Mail

Vote by Mail ballots have begun to be sent out to those who already requested them! If you'd still like to request a Vote by Mail ballot, you can do so at this link. https://www.sec.state.ma.us/MailInRequestWeb/MailInBallot.aspx

Your mail-in application must reach your local election officials by 5 PM on the 5th business day before the election. No matter when the application is postmarked, your application must be at the local election office by the deadline! Apply as soon as possible. The Postal Service recommends allowing up to 7 days for mail delivery.

You may return your ballot by:

• Mailing it back using the envelope provided

• Hand-delivering your ballot to your local election office (listed below!)

• Using a ballot drop box (listed below, where available)

• Dropping your ballot off at an early voting location during early voting hours

You CANNOT bring it to your polling place on Election Day. 

2. Vote Early, In Person

In-person Early Voting will start on Saturday, October 17th and run through October 30th. Each town maintains its own early voting hours and locations. To find your town's Early Vote locations and hours, click here and select your town from the drop-down menu!

For each of our district's communities except Oxford, the Early Voting location is inside Town Hall. In Oxford, the location is the Senior Center at 323 Main Street Oxford, MA 01540

3. Vote on Election Day

Election Day polls will be open from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3rd at your regular polling place. Click here to find out your polling location!
